About me

I’m a Product Designer focused on turning complex problems into clear, usable, and measurable product outcomes.

Over the past years, I’ve worked across the full product lifecycle , from discovery and problem framing to delivery and post-launch refinement , designing systems and experiences used in real operational environments. I currently lead design at department level, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape direction, clarify priorities, and ship solutions that balance user needs with business objectives.

My approach is grounded in structure, user behaviour, and systems thinking. I don’t design screens in isolation , I work from first principles: understanding the problem space, defining success metrics, exploring hypotheses, validating through prototypes, and iterating based on real feedback. I care deeply about how decisions impact adoption, usability, and long-term product value.

I specialize in designing products that feel intentional and dependable. That means paying attention to the details most teams overlook: microcopy, edge cases, real user paths, feedback loops, and operational constraints. I design for reality , not ideal scenarios.

While my background started in UI/UX execution, my role has evolved into owning product decisions: helping define scope, challenging assumptions, aligning stakeholders, and translating ambiguity into actionable design direction. I regularly contribute to product strategy, roadmap discussions, and experience architecture, ensuring design is tied directly to outcomes rather than aesthetics.

I work closely with engineering throughout implementation, actively QA shipped features, and iterate post-launch to improve performance. I believe strong product design doesn’t end at handoff — it continues until the product actually works for people.

What I bring to products
• Research-driven discovery and opportunity definition
• Clear problem framing and hypothesis-based design
• Experience strategy across complex flows and systems
• Scalable design systems and consistent interaction patterns
• Rapid prototyping to validate early and reduce delivery risk
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering
• Ownership from concept through release and iteration
• Leadership through clarity, not micromanagement
• Deep attention to behavioural detail, microcopy, and usability
• Active involvement in QA and post-launch refinement

I design products, not just interfaces.

The redesigned website finally reflects who we are as an organization. It’s clear, professional, and easy to use — both for our members and for new students discovering us. The events and volunteer opportunities are now much more visible, which makes it easier for students to participate and stay engaged. We especially appreciated the attention to mobile usability, since most of our members access the site from their phones. The process was smooth, and the result exceeded our expectations.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How I work, think, and design.

What’s your design philosophy?
I prioritize understanding the problem space first, then shaping solutions grounded in both user insight and business goals. Clarity, structure, and purposeful outcomes guide my decisions , not just aesthetics. I design to reduce cognitive load and to support measurable product success.
How do you approach new projects?
I begin by defining context: product objectives, user needs, constraints, and success metrics. Once the problem is clear, I frame opportunities, sketch structure, and validate hypotheses through prototypes before iterating toward a solution that scales.
What does “product design” mean to you?
Product design means owning the experience , from discovery through delivery and iteration. It’s about shaping decisions that influence product strategy, not just interface craft. My work connects research, stakeholder alignment, and execution to meaningful outcomes.
How do you collaborate with product and engineering?
I partner early with product managers to align on outcomes and trade-offs, and with engineers to ensure feasibility and fidelity. Communication, shared understanding, and joint risk reduction keep teams moving toward real solutions, not just polished comps.
How do you ensure solutions are consistent and scalable?
I build and maintain design systems that unify patterns, behaviors, and interaction logic. Systems reduce ad-hoc decisions, speed up delivery, and ensure evolving products remain coherent across touchpoints.
What tools do you use and why?
I use Figma and FigJam for collaborative design, prototyping, and systems work. I integrate documentation tools like Notion or Confluence when needed. Tools are extensions of thought, they support clarity and alignment, not replace critical reasoning.
How involved are you after design handoff?
Design handoff isn’t a final step — it’s where implementation validates decisions. I stay involved through active QA and post-launch feedback loops to ensure the experience meets expectations and improves over time.
What leadership approach do you bring to teams?
I provide clear direction without micromanagement. My focus is on aligning teams around outcomes, elevating design thinking, and enabling others to contribute their best while keeping the product vision coherent.
What makes good product design?
Good product design solves real problems, respects users’ time, and aligns with measurable goals. It balances function and form, integrates feedback, and iterates based on real behaviour and data.
